Lightfoot Defence are planning to increase the output of reclaimed ECR Grade R245fa refrigerant from their site in response to a shortage of the product in the wholesale market.
Steven Rodgers, the General Manager says “Our EA Permit allows us to produce reclaimed ECR Grade R245fa from the Hazardous Waste we receive from our customers. Due to a worldwide shortage of ECR Grade R245fa, we are building 2 more machines to cope with the demand for this reclaimed product.”
Reclaiming the waste ECR Grade R245fa means that none of the refrigerant’s Global Warming Potential is released during the disposal/incinerating procedure ensuring a better environmental outcome for the product.
