JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide procurement services to the buyer and collate/upload/process data onto the MRP system (Orderwise training provided).

Duties and Responsibilities

Accountable for the following:

• Raise and process RFQ’s
• Raise PO’s
• Enusre PO’s are raised against correct financial authority
• Update MRP system with data relevant to compliance, Safety Data Sheets, shelf life and export controls
• Update the team about any delays or problems with suppliers
• Follorw process for obsolescence management
• Collate customer compliance information for the supply of spares
• Collate information to update and review approved suppliers list
• Answer and direct customer telephone calls
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors
• Follow up on suppliers
• Research of new products and suppliers
• Knowledge of manufacturing production and processes (ideally)
• Additional resource where required and directed by the management team

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• •  
• Able to work on own initiative
• MS Office skills
• Keen eye for detail
• Be able to effectively communicate in both written and verbal format
• Ability to establish and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with ERP systems (ideally)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Salary: competitive
37.5 hours per week
Office based role with the requirement to occasionally travel for client meetings
